National Ice Cream Day: BOGO at MAGNUM New York!

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day this Sunday at the Magnum ice cream store pop-up in the Meatpacking District. Visitors can celebrate by bringing a friend to #MagnumNYC and checking in on social media to enjoy two MAGNUM bars for the price of one. The store allows you to create customizable MAGNUM bars of your choice with three toppings from a selection of over 20 decadent ingredients including gold glitter flakes, chocolate covered chia seeds and sweet coconut flakes.

City of Water Day

Take advantage of the water that surrounds this great city this Saturday at Governor’s Island. Highlights of the festival include free boat tours on all kinds of vessels and free rowing, kayaking, paddle-boarding. There will also be food vendors and art throughout for when you’re not rowing your boat through the city seas.

Out in the Streets Music Fest

Taking place this weekend at The Well in Brooklyn, the Out in the Streets Music and Art Fest will have a lineup each day of great acts, including Caveman, Psychic Twin, and Crush Club. Pizza will be provided. Tickets are $20 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday.

Bastille Day Block Party

Celebrate Bastille Day in Harlem on Sunday, making you feel like you’re in France. Maison Harlem will be closing the entire block for the celebration of Bastille Day, featuring meals by Maison Harlem, a vintage market by Bang Tidy, french crepes, cotton candy and nails painting. The party will also feature music as your celebrate the independence of another land.

Greenwich Village Summer Walking Tours

Village Alliance are holding free walking tours in the historic Greenwich Village are held every Saturday until September. It’s perfect for when your parents are in town who want to see the sites and sounds of the neighborhood.


Rockaway Water Park

As if there isn’t enough of a reason to check out the Rockaways for the food and the beach. This very small but fun water park is an added addition. At $25 per person for two hours, you’ll get to jump, swing, dive, and swim aboard the Tarzan boat, aptly named. It’s sure to be a splash hit.

Perrier Flavored Studio Pop-Up

From July 12 to July 16, Perrier and experiential marketing shop Kinetic are launching an immersive pop-up experience called The Perrier Flavor Studio in Soho. The free exhibit is centered around stoking the five senses in a socially shareable way. There will be two new flavors of sparkling water — Perrier Strawberry and Perrier Watermelon. The event will feature a Bubble pit, custom nail art, interactive art installations, Perrier flavor bar and so much more to Snap about.



Whoever thought an all-bacon restaurant with a subterranean karaoke bar would ever exist? Amazingly this very concept just opened in Williamsburg, and is a must-check-out place for bacon lovers everywhere. The menu features a nine-course, $45 tasting menu with dishes like pork belly carpaccio, pork belly schnitzel and linguine with pork belly sausage in a creamy kimchi sauce. Take on a la carte options like a pork belly wrap for lunch.


Queens Bully

Named after the iconic Queens Boulevard, the Queens Bully is taking great BBQ to eastern queens. Still in its soft opening, the menu features an extensive beer list and classic BBQ staples like pulled pork, slow roasted brisket, and baby back ribs. Pizzas will be available too for those picky eaters that somehow don’t love the BBQ.
