We’ve Decided. These Are The Top 5 Shows That Need A Reunion

Becca Van Sambeck
Becca is a recent Fordham grad, a former German beer hall girl, and a new Brooklyn resident who used to read the dictionary for fun as a kid. She has only gotten slightly less lame since then. She loves pugs, chicken fingers, reading and Game of Thrones.

It seems like all the beloved shows of our past are reuniting: Arrested Development, Boy Meets World, The X-Files, Full House, and now, Gilmore Girls. It’s always great to see your favorite TV show characters again — we’ve missed those familiar faces — and while not all reboots are created equal, we’re going to keep hoping that some of our other favorite shows decide to add an extra episode, or season.

Look, they did that mini reunion recently, but it wasn’t even as their characters, and hello, everyone’s favorite Friend, Chandler, wasn’t even THERE. We want more! Did Ross and Rachel get married? Does Chandler have the world’s worst dad jokes? Has Joey learned to share food? Give us the answers, Universe!

Lizzie McGuire

Lizzie was what every middle schooler envisioned as her best friend. She was friendly, cheerful, loyal, funny, pretty (but not intimidatingly so). She struggled with shopping for a bra, dealing with mean girls and an awkward crush. Remember Aaron Carter just came out and said Hilary Duff was his true love? Get a reunion for these two kids!

(Side note: for an eighth grader, Lizzie dated a LOT of pop stars.)

That ‘70s Show

Hyde and Kelso are reuniting (albeit as new characters) on a Netflix sitcom called The Ranch, but what we REALLY want is to see the characters we know and love tackle the ‘80s —would the gang switch from weed to coke? Jackie would totally kill the Material Girl looks, and hello, she was meant to end up with Hyde anyway, not Fez! We need a reunion to fix this mistake.

The Office

The Office had one of the most beautiful finales of all time — it seemed like everyone got a fitting send off. It would be selfish and probably a bad idea to wish for more, but c’mon! The show was so funny, can you blame a girl for dreaming?

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Forget Harry Potter. Sabrina was the one who originally inspired our witch Halloween costumes. You know you want to see how Sabrina’s adjusted to adulthood, or if Salem got to finish his sentence as a cat yet (probably not, guy really wanted to take over the world).
