When celebs star in music videos, it’s always entertaining. Whether they’re playing themselves or a character, it’s always fun to see them alongside some of our favorite musicians. It’s also a win-win- win: The artist gets more publicity for their video, fans get to see their favorite actors on screen, and it’s got to be fun to shoot them, right?

Well, it’s sure fun to watch them. Which is why I have compiled this list of the best celeb cameos in music videos for your watching pleasure.

John Stamos in The Beach Boys’ “Kokomo”

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Nobody knows. Which came first? The Beach Boys on Full House, or John Stamos in the Beach Boys videos? Somebody knows. Either way, John Stamos played, well, John Stamos.

Pamela Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Nia Long in Kanye West’s “Touch the Sky”

Ye plays Kanyevil and Pamela Anderson plays his current girlfriend, showing up at 00:39. As the video continues you meet a very jealous ex played by Nia Long, as well as her friend, Tracee Ellis Ross. It seems as if they are unhappy about the new girlfriend. “When he get on, he leave yo ass for a white girl.” (Their words, not mine.)

Ben Stiller in P Diddy’s “Bad Boys for Life”

Ben plays the uptight, annoyed neighbor when Diddy throws one of his infamous parties. At 3:00 Ben comes a knocking on Diddy’s door to complain about a golf ball coming through his window. Can you blame him?

Melissa Joan Hart and Adrien Grenier in Britney Spears’ “(You Drive Me) Crazy”

Since the song was the title track for the rom com of the same name that the two starred in, they’re appearance is probably not that surprising, but no less wonderful. At 00:10 the three teen heartthrobs show up and basically playing carefree teenagers at a party with random choreography. So 90s.

Kathy Griffin in Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady”

Kathy starts the video off behind the desk at a mental hospital. Using Eminem’s voice over, she infamously asks the real Slim Shady to please stand up.

Christina Applegate, Christina Milian, and Eva Longoria in Jessica Simpson’s “A Public Affair”

Before Taylor Swift, there was Jessica Simpson. Jess enlisted the help of the sexiest girls in Hollywood at the time to help her out, by playing the sexiest girls in Hollywood. Needless to say, they did a pretty good job.

Scarlett Johansson in Justin Timberlake’s “What Goes Around… Comes Around”

In this mini movie, Scarlett plays Justin’s love interest — if you can call it that. Fans get to watch them both live out our fantasies right in front of their face. Forgive me if I’ve only watched this stupid video once.

Megan Fox in Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie”

Megan comes in at 00:11, playing with fire. Literally. Throughout the video we find out that she is in a nasty relationship, and it does not seem as though she loves the he lies. (Contrary to the lyrics.)

Tom Hanks in Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You”

The Oscar winning actor plays, well, himself. He’s going about his day as normal except he’s singing Carly’s lyrics. It’s incredibly adorable to be honest.

Ron Howard, Forest Whitaker, Jake Gylennhal, and Samuel L. Jackson in Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It”

Don’t you love watching celebrities party? Well that’s all this mini movie is. Celebrities getting drunk and wreaking havoc.

Katy Perry in Gym Class Heroes “Cupid’s Chokehold”

Before Katy kissed a girl, she kissed Travie McCoy, and he made her the leading lady in his video. She steps in at 3:07 and turns this video from a comedic showcase to a romantic comedy in a matter of seconds.
