New Tracks Tuesday: Chris Siegel with ‘Jersey’

Talia Aroshas
Talia Aroshas is a Capricorn semi vegetarian who obtained her master’s degree in the art of coat checking after four years of intense study at NYC’s mostly highly regarded titty bar. Here, she double majored in high-brow sarcasm, and graduated with honors in pungent irony. As a result, she is fluent in both languages. All coats aside, after two years as Editor in Chief of one of NYC’s leading nightlife blogs, Talia realized her greatest passion to be music and is very excited to be heading 20something’s Create vertical, mostly for the free concert access it will get her. #Newtracktuesday is all about sharing the talent of up-and-coming artists that are on our radar, and this Tuesday is no different. Hailing from Milwaukee, Chris Siegel began his musical career at the age of 4 when he started playing with the keys on his grandmother’s grand piano. This love of music followed him tinto high school and enabled him to land the lead trumpet role in his school’s award-winning jazz band. Eventually, Chris found his greatest passion was music production and he was able to fulfill this passion as half of Milwaukee’s own electronic soul duo, Kiings. The duo has seen much success in the Midwest and East Coast over the last two years, with their biggest hit being “You Can’t See Me” featuring the amazing Christine Hoberg.

Today we bring you Chris’ debut single as a solo artist. Called “Jersey,” Chris describes the track as “An ode to Jersey Club, 90’s R&B, and Timbaland-esque foreign instrumentation.”
