Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2016/17 Haute Couture runway show took place at The Grand Palais in Paris. As expected, the iconic brand served its purpose and delivered a collection of quality and high fashion designs. But the show was also an inspiration. Fifteen-year-old musician and actress Willow Smith, who sat front row, was named Chanel’s newest brand ambassador.

“Willow Smith for Chanel” is inspiring in more ways than one. Here is a young artistic girl with natural locks representing the high fashion brand. She is a great example that confidence and authenticity still can go a long way. This also illustrates how female brand ambassadors strive to inspire other young women. I’m sure Smith inspired more young women than myself.

In light of Willow Smith being elected as brand ambassador for Chanel, here a list of nine others inspiring female brand ambassadors of 2016.

Rihanna for Dior and Puma

Beyoncé’s Ivy Park Collection for Top Shop

Victoria Beckham for Estee Lauder

Zoë Kravitz For Yves Saint Laurent

Candice Swanepoel For Givenchy
