It’s October, A.K.A. breast cancer awareness month — and there is no one who doesn’t appreciate the boobies. So, we need to donate and support. You could just donate money straight to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, or you could buy some beauty products that will not only give you that bold, beautiful look and flawless skin, but also give back to a great cause.
I browsed the stores, did some research, and put together a list of products that gives you the best reason to go shopping and save the ta-tas, because #priorities:
If you don’t have one, now is the time to invest! The beauty blender is an amazing sponge that leaves your makeup looking flawless. Don’t forget to wet and squeeze your beautyblender before use (it’s meant to be used damp)! The packaging is in the shape of a heart, which makes it that much better.
“Bright Pink is a non-profit organization that focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals.”
Beautyblender will be donating 50 percent of sales to this charity.
This is one of those lotions that I always go back to. I always keep it handy because it’s super hydrating, which is especially important during the change in seasons when your skin is completely lacking moisture. I throw it on before bed after I wash my face from time to time, but don’t forget – a little goes a long way! As if a bottle of super hydrating moisturizer that’ll last a while isn’t enough, it also comes with a cute four charm key-chain too. For each bottle purchased, $10 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Tory Burch Lip Color with a limited edition case ($32)
This is already a favorite shade for many, but now there’s something different — it’s in a limited edition case! Yay! For those who haven’t tried out this product, it’s sheer but also a pigmented dusty rose color. Tory Burch will also donate 20 percent of the total sales from this product to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
I’m SUCH a fan of Smashbox primers. You need to have a base to keep your shadow vibrant and prevent it from creasing. With that being said, the Smashbox shadow primer lasts 24 hours, allll day alllll night.
TWEEZERMAN Slant Tweezer ($23)
There’s really not much to say about a tweezer, but this is one of the best brands…like, award-winning. The slant grabs every hair, making it much easier for precise tweezing. The Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon is made with Swarovski crystals, which is a nice touch. TWEEZERMAN is not donating to one specific organization. They will be donating to any organizations that are devoted to cancer care and finding a cure.
eos Lip Balm ($6.59)
I always have an eos rolling around in my bag. It’s definitely not one of those lip balms you can comfortably put in your pocket, but it’s cute packaging is a huge selling point. The lip balm feels so good going on, you just keep applying (even when you don’t need to). Ahh, soo smooth.
eos is really making their rounds with their donations, which we love! “A portion of the proceeds will benefit various breast cancer research organizations including American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.”
Estee Lauder Modern Muse ($49.50)
A perfume? On a keychain? Yes, please! The scent is a combo of floral and woody. To be honest, I have every single product above but this one. However, I need it so I can keep it on my keychain at all times! Also, Estee Lauder is donating 100 percent of the retail price to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation!
