Alain Saint-Dic, Health and Fitness Editor at 20something, brings over nine years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Though he studied pre-law, his love for the human body, it's adaptive ability and unlocking the largely untapped potential of human beings led him to pursue a passionate career in health, fitness, and athletics.

The choice to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, to follow through on an idea, is the kind of choice that this country was built on. It’s a loaded one and presents many challenges and responsibility to the entrepreneur. A few things ease the burden, such as measurable success, cash flow and network. However, the ability to steer a business onto a successful path requires many qualities and external assistance.

Contrary to AfroMan and his anti-productivity, pro-marijuana propaganda, dabbling in what will hopefully be a legal drug in most states, can actually help boost your entrepreneurial endeavors.

1. Getting the creative juices flowing

Though it’s prominent known in the arts for the ability to stimulate the creativity of actors, musicians, and artists, Marijuana is rarely mentioned in the context of driving creativity behind business. Yet, I’m sure if a founder were faced with creative restrictions on how to further monetize their business model, a few hits of the right stuff may get the creative juices flowing.

2. Live long to enjoy the success

There’s no point in building an empire if you don’t live long enough to enjoy it, or at least produce an heir. Marijuana has been shown to reduce a number of health issues, including some effects of cancer.

3. Munchies ain’t so bad for your well being

The MJ drive behind your appetite will hopefully keep you well nourished as you tackle your daily tasks, and reach a different level of productivity each day.

Munchies. .. now i have another movie to add to my list of

4. Steady those nerves

Nerves of steel, often attributed to clutch players, doesn’t mean the lack of nerves, but rather having control over them in times of stress. If you’re going through a trying time, kick back with a little recreational relief, then resume business as usual.

5. Sleep

Some call it being mellow, some call it sleepiness, some call it being out of it. I like to refer to it as being well rested. In times when your mind might otherwise be racing from the day’s events, going to sleep with some assistance may improve the quality of your sleep while helping your brain and body to recover.
