Tis the season for your wardrobe to change. I personally spent about 30 minutes puttering around my room trying to figure out what to wear because the forecast called for 60 degrees and clouds in the morning, 80 with 81 percent humidity in the afternoon and 70 for the evening. I know, first world problems. Anyways, hopefully this little guide will help you to dress appropriately for the ever changing weather.
We’re now in a strange season where it’s not quite time for full fledge boots yet. However, booties are completely appropriate. Luckily if you get a good pair of black booties you can literally wear them with anything, from sweatshirts, sweaters, skirts pants, to even T-shirts. Even if you can find a pair of dark brown or dark blue? (yes I’m still searching) they pretty much go with anything and can add that touch of professionalism that I personally am always lacking in my outfits.
I’m a huge jacket girl, I’m always cold indoors, whether it’s 80 degrees outside or 8, and anyone who has ever stepped inside an office knows how difficult it can be to write an email while you’re shivering. Although I would love to just wear my Snuggie as an in an office accessory (yes I’ve done it before), a much better alternative is a cute jacket. I would suggest something that you really love, so that you can wear it with pretty much anything. The great thing about these lightweight coats, is that they can bring you from summer directly into fall and can be worn with a sweater, sweater dress or something more light and summery.
Everyone has woken up feeling like absolute shit before and for me the best remedy for this is to get myself a cute outfit, a cupcake and watch a few cute puppy videos (trust me it really makes a difference). For me a solid go to is a all white or black outfit with tons of fun jewelry, and for those of you whining about not wearing white after labor, get over it. The best part about putting on a neutral colored outfit is that you can wear any combination of jewelry with any colors and any style.
