Don’t Be A Grimy Chick

It is a known fact that guys and girls in relationships have friends of the opposite sex, and this is usually cool if each party knows the friend, has hung out with them collectively or even just spoken to them.

(What isn’t cool is when one of your boyfriend’s girlfriends is over-stepping her boundaries. She sends selfies, they chat every day and they meet up without you knowing it. This bitch has crossed the line. We’ll revisit this.)

Now, this is a whole different situation when a man forms the above relationship and the girl has no idea that he has a girlfriend. That just makes the dude a scumbag. But what is up with females knowing that dudes have girlfriends and still trying to slide in? What is it about contemporary culture that makes girls ok with being sidepieces? That just makes you a grimy chick.

What does that say about you as a person if “I have a girlfriend” means nothing? How do you plan to have a stable relationship one day? Time and time again, the adage keeps appearing: “What goes around comes around.” And bet that if you break up a happy home for a lay, it will happen to you one day.

Ladies – have some respect for yourselves and leave the ones with girlfriends or wives alone. Find your own. Let’s empower each other, not demean each other. Let’s uphold some values about what a relationship means and not put flirtation and sex above that.

All in all, it does take two to tango, so respect yourselves – and others – and step off a taken man. Plus, why do you want sloppy seconds anyway? Elevate your self-worth, girl.

What do you think? Is there ever a situation where being a sidepiece does not make you a grimy chick?
