Every Single Event You’ll Want To Attend During Miami Music Week

Miami Music Week, the only week of the year where every international DJ in the world is in the same city. Even better, this extravaganza begins around the time of Spring break. Say whaaaaaat? If you’re all about good people, good vibes, and good times, MMW is something you should highly consider. Most people have their tickets to ULTRA, but whether you plan to head to the festival or not, there are plenty of other events in the city to peep.

MMW begins on a Tuesday this year, March 21 to 26, but there are still tons of exciting events, at all times, at various venues. Miami Music Week is going to be insane. Just know that. Know it. DO YOU KNOW IT?! You better be there.

At this point, you probably checked out miamimusicweek.com, and it may seem a bit overwhelming at first, but not to worry! We sorted out the hottest parties in Miami for the entire week.

Where to after party:

Tuesday, March 21: Slap & Tickle

When the sun goes down, things really start to heat up. This place breeds imagination and up and coming DJ’s.  If you wanna keep dancin’ till late, this place is perfect for you.

Wednesday, March 22: My Boyfriend is Out of Town

Wednesday, wine and nothing but your girls — need I say more? Désolé des garçons.

Thursday, March 23: Rush Rush

If you’re tryin’ to get groovy, say no more. This underground funky lounge has you feelin’ like you are in That 70’s Show. Except it’s in Miami, and instead of getting your blunt stolen by Kitty Forman, maybe you’ll leave with someone new and um… well…you know.

Friday, March 24: STORY

I’m sure anyone who has been here put up mad stories that night. Ha-ha, get it. Wanna cross this off your bucket list? Do it. Maybe you’ll even catch a surprise guest.

Saturday, March 25: Club Space

The universe, what a concept. I guess that’s why this place deserved the title it has. If you have the opportunity to experience this club, you’re cooler than cool. Just be prepared to drop a lot of dough.

Sunday. March 26: Chocolate Sundays

You know what they say, Sundays are for food. And chocolate. And also a drained bank account. Luckily there is never a cover or a line at this place. It bumps old school gangsta rap, too.

Where to eat:

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

Bacon Bloody Mary’s, hand crafted cocktails, and the most epic fried chicken you will ever have. If you are looking for that perfect, comforting hangover brunch on a Sunday, this place will literally knock your socks off!

Ham & Eggery

A local landmark for decades, it won best of Miami back in 1996! This spot has the originality of a breakfast diner on lockdown. Food comes fast and vintage Warhol style prints line the walls.

Whisk Gourmet  Food & Catering

This place has mastered the perfect lunch combo — a sandwich and a salad. Whisk started off as a baking company, hence the name. So be sure to try a dessert after a satisfying meal!

db Bistro Moderne

Whether you’re in the mood for drinks at the bar or a lovely lunch, DB is a solid choice. This place carries the famous Daniel Bouloud name, and rightfully so. The menu is classic yet inventive and brings a modern twist to traditional French cuisine. C’est parfait!

If you want to wine and dine properly, check this place out.  The California vibe hits you right when you walk in the door with its healthy and inventive dishes. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Nobu Miami

Years later, I’m still dreaming of this place. A MUST for sushi lovers. Not to be dramatic, but it’s literally the best sushi I have ever had. The selection, the variety, the presentation, the pace of the meal, everything about this place is unbelievable!

Baby Jane

Finally! A little late night ramen noodle that is actually appetizing. Craft cocktails and plenty of drunken nighttime bites to enjoy with some good music and friends.

The Salty Donut

Two words: maple bacon. Whoever the mad scientist is at the Salty Donut who perfected the maple bacon donut deserves an award. The hype is real.

ALL DAY is certainly the kind of place I want to hang out all day. Coincidence? I think not. If you don’t want their killer cold brew, you can opt for tea, juice, beer, wine, and SNOW CONES (!!!!). So this place is practically perfect.
