DJs And Fans Pay Tribute To The “King Of New York” Rob Fernandez

Two months ago, the New York nightlife community, and the music industry as a whole, lost the beloved and influential Rob Fernandez to heart-related issues. Rob was the music director of Pacha NYC, one of the cities most popular dance nightclubs, as well as a partner in RPM presents, an equally large event promotion company that catered to the top artists and shows in the world.

Rob was a key player in the rise and cultivation of the New York nightlife scene, earning him the nickname “King of New York.” His legacy will forever live on.

House of Rob took place at none other than PachaNYC, with all proceeds going to benefit Rob’s family. The only challenge party organizers faced? Fitting the massive lineup into one venue, and all into one night. The city was even kind enough, despite it being a Wednesday night, to grant Pacha a permit to let the event pour out into the streets for a block party.

Artists like Kaskade and Nicole Moudaber played on as the sun sank into the night.  Featuring local legends and world-renowned performers, the sets ran from 30-45 minutes on each level.

The party was a massive success. Playing in the city that never sleeps, the crowd danced and the music played on into the early hours of the morning.
