Calling All Beauty Junkies: 5 YouTubers You Should Obsess Over

Stevi Incremona
Stevi graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. When she's not auditioning and running around New York, she's escaping to her original home at the Jersey Shore and most definitely lying on a beach somewhere equidistant between the ocean and tiki bar. She's a coffee snob, craft beer enthusiast, technology nerd, and obviously (most importantly) has a very real addiction to buying and trying affordable beauty products.

YouTube has become one of the most resourceful places for free knowledge on beauty trends along with general “happenings” in the industry. While there are basically thousands of different “beauty gurus” out there on YouTube, these are my top five picks of ladies that are pretty much responsible for feeding my addiction.

Disclaimer: If you click on any of these videos below and find yourself three hours deep on a YouTube binge with your online Sephora shopping cart full of new products, don’t say you weren’t warned.

Tati Westbrook

This lass is the best in the biz when it comes to product reviews, tips and tricks, and a constant flow of new and exciting information about product launches. Tati is one of the few YouTubers that puts out a new video every single weekday. She has themed days of the week like “Hot or Not Thursday,” where she reviews new products, or “First Impression Fridays,” where she tries on a new product and gives us her impressions of it through the course of the day. Her channel is perfect for people looking to make wise spending decisions on products. She does a great job appealing to people who shop higher-end markets as well as drugstores. Tati is also absolutely stunning, so that’s appealing too.

Fleur DeForce

This London-based beauty is the YouTuber I want to be friends with the most. She seems to be extremely down to earth, chill and hardworking. Her channel is full of product reviews, hair tutorials, and most excitingly, video blogs of her day-to-day life, which really let’s you have a behind-the-scenes look at how making a living on the internet works. Earlier this year, she launched a book that made the bestseller list. She also just launched her own makeup line this week! Mad props, yo.

Jaclyn Hill

If you’re looking for stunning and bold makeup tutorials, you can’t ignore this chick. First of all, she’s freaking hilarious. She talks about a mile a minute, but her videos are full of in-depth product reviews and suggestions for makeup enthusiasts. It’s obvious that her preference lies with higher-end products, but she often gives suggestions for more affordable brands you can use while still achieving the beautiful effect she’s going for. Jaclyn is easily the most skilled makeup artist I enjoy watching. Check her out.

Amelia Liana

Amelia is the actual embodiment of posh. She is a glamorous British goddess with an affinity for smokey eyes and loose, long locks. She does fewer tutorials on her channel, but she keeps her audience entertained with behind-the-scenes footage and fun videos like “TMI Beauty Talks” and “Get To Know Me.” She has a funny way of being blunt that is refreshing. Amelia explores a bit of fashion on her channel as well. It’s definitely worth a look.

Nicole Guerriero

Ugh, love this chick. She makes the Jersey girl in me so happy. Her looks are largely over the top, but her skill and artistry is something to seriously respect. She loves drugstore makeup just as much as her high-end selections which make it easy to re-create her looks product-for-product. She’s also just unbelievably fun to watch and listen to. Bonus: her Halloween costume makeup looks are actually insane and some of the best I’ve ever seen.
