Barbie’s New Commercial Is A Feministic Masterpiece

This editress-in-chief manages a very large and very badass team of editors and contributors, working with them on all levels of content creation and editorial planning. She simultaneously directs and oversees all editorial strategy to continue developing 20something into a distinctive brand with a discernable personality by supplying fellow 20somethings with information we can use, trust, understand and enjoy. In an era when we are emotionally moved by commercials about gum, it’s not the most insane thing to learn that we could become exceedingly overjoyed by yet another new 2-minute short. However this time we have an unexpected source to thank.

Amidst all of the negative press surrounding Barbie, asserting that they represent a negative stereotype for women and create an unattainable and unhealthy body image ideal for young girls, the brand decided to change the focus.

TBH, now that I’m over the age of 10, I never expected to get so much enjoyment out of something brain-blasted by Mattel. But hey, ~anything can happen~. Watch for yourself and let’s share a message that’s doing some good for a change.
