Whether you work in advertising, finance, or the music industry, the start of the new year is and will always be rough. Not only have most working professionals just returned from an extended and care-free holiday break, they have also entered the most important, if not laborious time of year — the first quarter.
Unlike a football game, Q1 is not a game of catch and toss. There aren’t many opportunities to turn things around after the deadline. Q1 is about spending your approved budget swiftly before the CFO decides to cut it. And putting on your winter tires. And winter-proofing your home. And working tirelessly to make sure all of your project plans are in place and ready for implementation. And feeling like Future on Live from the Gutter, because the money makes you hungry and a savage.
In other words, Q1 is not for the weak-minded corporate brown nosers. It’s thug life, but I digress…
So after pulling 60+ hours at work, then listening to bae vent about purchase orders and new bosses, then paying bills, then finally catching up on your favorite reality shows, the last thing on anyone’s mind is working out. But sometimes you have to be like DJ Khaled and give yourself an elliptical talk and handle it.
So here’s three lazy-sunday approved ab moves you can do while laying down. And don’t forget to ask yourself, “What would DJ Khaled say?”
