After branching off from electronic duo Kiings, Chris Siegel has been working on his solo music project. His sound can best be described as happy, upbeat music that just puts you in a great mood like this track, which is slowly becoming my summer anthem. One of his most recent singles he dropped this year titled “Jersey” is the perfect mix of upbeat synthesizer pop with Jersey club beats and adlibs. He also recently released the track, “This is How.” His current catalog of work might be small, but we know there is a lot more coming from him in the future.

DVSN is an R&B duo that includes singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85. Their rise to fame has been quick. Just in September 2015 they released two songs “With Me” and “The Line” and started to receive recognition once “With Me” was played on Apple Beats 1 radio show. They were signed by Drake’s label OVO Sound soon after they released “Hallucinations”
Their debut album September 5 has been a huge success so far, landing the #6 spot on Complex’s Best Albums of 2016. Not to mention, they also have a cameo on Drake’s new album Views with the track “Faithful.” DVSN is definitely putting in the necessary work to become a classic RnB duo. We give it #Top5Top5Top5

A R I Z O N A
This is the perfect band to discover just in time for summer. A R I Z O N A’s upbeat tunes and poppy vocals will make you want to jump in the car and take a road trip with your bffs. The band bounces around between New Jersey, L.A. and the U.K. (not Arizona) while making music from their mobile recording studio.

They classify themselves as “Psychedelic Jungle Rock.” Their hometown of Austin, Texas classifies them as the Best New Band of 2014/2015. Put the two together and you can easily see why Migrant Kids needs to be on your radar. Their most recent album, Primordial Soup, integrates some heavy 80s synthesizer influence and blends that into their indie rock roots. Their unique take on the genre feels authentic with tracks like Religion and Canvas of Me. But its really songs like Beaten that show their broad range of talent that exceeds any indie category.
