Back in my teens, I would be shocked to get a blemish and I (admittedly) never washed my face at night. Fast forward a few years and BAM! Anything I do/don’t do will make my skin breakout. Now that I’ve become more of a product junkie and lover of a good glow, I can say that I have my skin somewhat tamed. Here are some lifesaving products that I always have stocked in my vanity.

Pesky pimple? No problem. (rp @wcpytty)

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

An overnight wonder if ya ask me. Spot treat any blemish with this drying lotion and it will be either vanished by morning or on it’s way out. Quick tip: DO NOT shake the bottle. Take a q-tip and dip into the bottom of the bottle. Simply dab onto effected area without rubbing it in. The Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, and Zinc Oxide will draw out bacteria and dry up this little guy no problem.

Refresh skin, or set makeup, with our #doubleduty Hydrating Toner! #MuradSkincare #LinkInBio

Murad Hydrating Toner

Hydration is key for clear skin. If you use a more intense cleanser your oils can easily be stripped from your skin. The Murad Hydrating toner will restore skin’s natural pH balance, tone, and add any hydration that was stripped from cleansing. I even pack this gem in my beach bag for pick-me-up hydration.

GLAMGLOW SuperMud Clearing Treatment

*My favorite product on the list* GLAMGLOW’s entire brand was made with the purpose of seeing instant results that will make you camera ready. They sure as heck succeeded after creating many different concoctions at their coffee table. Six years later I’m here telling you the SuperMud mask is a miracle product. It’s good for all skin types and does exactly what it says — visibly clears skin complexion within 20 minutes. It really clears up many skin issues such as blemishes, redness, scars and razor bumps (yes boys, dig in).

DERMAFLASH Face Exfoliating Device

This is a pricey recommendation at $189, but it might just give you the best skin of your life, seriously! I won this in a Christmas Party raffle last year and boy oh boy did I not realize how lucky I was until after using. This is essentially a DIY derma-planning tool. I’ll admit, to help keep my adult acne under control, I see an esthetician every six to seven weeks for a facial or peel. However, this at home exfoliator really gave my skin the extra push it needed, which is why I bumped facials off this list. It will remove the outer layer of skin full of dead and dull skin cells, dirt and bacteria and peach fuzz. This will result in a smooth, youthful and brighter you. Plus I’m Italian so I’m always looking to lose a little peach fuzz in the process.

Dermalogica PreCleanse

Out of all the products on this recommendation list, I’ve been using this one the longest — I’m talking years ladies and gents. You know that awkward moment when your waterproof makeup in fact isn’t coming off your face with just cleanser? Won’t be an issue anymore after using PreCleanse! It’s oil that will melt off your makeup before using cleanser for an ultra clean. Especially living in a big city, environmental pollution just loves to get all over our skin. PreCleanse is that deep clean you need after a long day out so your skin stays happy and clean.

Happy and healthy skin, my friends!
